 About Our Family We are the Thompson Family — Heather, Rob, and our daughter Charlotte. I’m Heather, the heart behind Setareh Pets and Waiting 4 Sunshine, where I blend animal care, gentle education, and emotional wellness into everything I create. Growing up as the daughter of a veterinarian, my love for animals began early and shaped the path I’ve walked for over 30 years in the veterinary field. Today, I continue caring for animals both professionally and personally, while building safe, trustworthy educational spaces for small-pet owners. My husband, Rob, is an IT specialist who keeps major companies running behind the scenes. And our daughter, Charlotte — now 9 — shares our passion for animals and brings endless joy (and plenty of giggles) into our home. Our little zoo includes: 🐱 Cats: Bernadette, Penelope, Love & Shadow 🐶 Dogs: Gabby (Yorkie) & Liberty (Standard Poodle) 🦔 Hedgehog: Peanut 🐭 Chinchillas: Mochi & Pippin 🐰 Bunny: Poppy, our emotional-support cuddle queen Every one of them plays a part in our daily life, in our learning, and in the heart of Setareh.
